  2. TSA: Our Mission • The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs.

  3. Dream It. Build It. Live It. • Build it: Ever wanted to create something out of nothing? Then join events such as Structural Engineering, VEX Robotics, Dragster Design, and others that are made for you. • Live It: Ever wondered what your future holds? Then join TSA and participate in events such as Debating Technological Issues, Career Comparison, , and others to see explore your talents and try something new! • Dream it: Ever dreamt of something and wish it came true? Then compete in events such as Fashion Design, Computer-Aided Design(CAD) 2D and 3D, Music Production, and many more.

  4. More Than Just Competitions… • LEADERSHIP Not only does TSA offer competitions, but also leadership opportunities by allowing courageous individuals to run for a chapter, state, or national office. • TEAMWORK TSA promotes teamwork through competitions and other leadership development programs. • COMMUNICATION Communication is key in the innovative world, and TSA allows students to be able to convey what they learn to others.

Conferences • Each year Tennessee TSA organizes conferences at the regional, state, and national levels. • During the conferences, students pull all their hard work together and showcase it by competing, presenting and even WINNING! • Conferences are a great learning experience, you can meet new people, gain fresh insights, and have loads of FUN.

  6. College Preparation • TSA can be an essential tool to help you prepare for your college experience. • New 2011-2012, Tennessee is offering the Learning to Live in a Technical World Program. This online blog is a tool to help high school members plan and prepare for college.

  7. Career Preparation • TSA provides you with the perfect opportunity to explore career interests • At conferences you will meet professionals from your area of interest • Strengthen the soft-skills that employers are looking for. • Time management • Teamwork • Organization • Dependability
