If TDA received Result “private” or “out of area” “private” or “out of area” is displayed. “long distance” “long distance” is displayed. Another items Caller ID and Name is displayed.
External Sensor - 1 If a device connected to the external sensor becomes active, there are 3 outcomes: (1)Sensor call will be generated to the pre-programmed extension (2)Generates SMDR Printout (3)Generates 3rd Party CTI command The sensor calldestination can be a PT, SLT,PS, or ISDN extension but not an ICD-Group. - If a sensor call arrives at an extension Display : pre-assigned name of sensor port [5.5] Ring : Distinctive ringer pattern can be assigned (triple, or special double ring, so on) [2.8.3] - Special Tone(Dial Tone 3) will be sent to answering extension. - If nobody answer sensor call, sensor call stops with pre-programmed time [2.4.3].
External Sensor - 2 Timings The External Sensor has some timing parameters that can be set using the maintenance console [1.] and clicking on the OPB3 card. Input Signal Decision Time = This is the time delay before Extension begins to Ring. Input Signal Detection Reopening Time = This is the time it takes the sensor to reset hence the time it will take to respond to the next input.
External Sensor - 3 Connection Diagram Power to the external sensor is provided from the EI04 card and must be grounded through the EI04 card as indicated in the diagram below. A pair of “sensor” and “common” lines are connected to the EI04 card for each external sensor. The TDA detects inputs from the sensor when the signal is under 100 Ohms.
External Relay Extensions can activate external relay for controlling external devices(On/Off) by feature code. There is a COS that has to be programmed to enable this feature. It is possible to activate the relayfor pre-programmed time [5.4]. The relay is the relay normally open. And has a maximum switching voltage of : 24VDC(1A) 30VAC(1A)
