INDUSTRY ACCESS ASSISTANCE CRITICAL TO RECOVERY STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS SOMETIMES HAVE TO MANY NUMBER 1’S FEMA LED COMMUNICATIONS TEAM WILL INCLUDE LICENSED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS (FCC CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AND U.S. MARSHALS) TO ASSIST IN ACCESS WHEN REQUIRED WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US

  3. Led by FEMA. Provides assistance to State and Local First Responders in development of Disaster Emergency Communications Plans Team includes many other Federal entities – FCC, GSA Regional teams, NCS, other components of DHS, and DOD Work with State and Local Emergency Managers, first responders, National Guard and anyone else local officials want involved. Follow on to work done in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama following Katrina First Targets – PR & VI, Southeast Atlantic and Gulf Coast States. Feeds into Regional Emergency Communications Coordination Working Groups COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING ASSISTANCE
