Welcome to Honors Chemistry! I'm Ms. Amy Clark-Grubb, with a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a Master's in Education. I will be teaching Honors Chemistry this year, focusing on engaging learning experiences. Grading is split: Tests/Projects/Labs (50%), Quizzes/Small Projects (25%), and Homework/Classwork (25%). Homework is assigned 2-3 nights a week, often started in class. For missed work, students should check with classmates and me. Stay updated via our website and text reminders!

Class Schedule • Check & Go Over Homework or quick quiz • Smart Notes, Classwork, and/or Lab • Homework when applicable • Cleanup of room on lab days • Summarizer
Absences • They should check with a classmate and teacher to get the missed work. • Check website. • Anything that was due should be handed into me. • They need to schedule Quiz and Test make-ups in atimely manner.
Homework • Given 2-3 nightsa week. • Most of the time they will be able to start their homework in class. • Students should look for texts from me for test dates and due dates of major assignments.
