  1. MHM: Menstrual HealthManagement

  2. Ugees: Menstrual health management is a significant gender issue. It directly affects one-quarter of the world's population and indirectly affects everyone else. Women begin menstruating between the ages of 12 and 15 years. Because a significant portion of these adolescent women/girls come from socially/economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing proper education, information, and facilities is not only an individual responsibility but also a national responsibility. As a result, many governments from various countries have taken it upon themselves to turn it into a social cause. Although the topic of menstruation is still a big taboo, this is gradually changing as a result of widespread awareness campaigns. In this article, we will try to learn more about this subject.

  3. It is critical to comprehend why MHM is so important in today's world. The current situation necessitates a fundamental shift in how India and the rest of the world approach menstrual issues. This is an essential component of sanitary management and social welfare. The goal of MHM is to ensure that women and girls can handle their periods well and in a hygienic manner that does not result in adverse effects on their own bodies or others. For this, they need female hygiene products that facilitate their need in a proper manner. Because female hygiene products are to be used in and around intimate area, they must be free from harsh chemicals that disturb the vaginal environment. Our government should subsidize brands that use naturally derived ingredients in their product instead of synthetic chemicals that affects women health negatively. Importance ofMHM

  4. Ugeesis an eco-friendly brand that uses plant derived ingredients in its products. The undergarment liquid detergent by Ugees is specifically created to hand wash underwear while disinfecting them appropriately. This immensely decreases the probability of vaginal infections caused by dirty underwear. Waste management issues:- Sanitary pads are most commonly used worldwide during periods but does this have serious repercussions on the environment? Yes! Every year the usage of sanitary napkins causes huge environmental debris that is hard to find and clean and it does not even decompose because it contains plastic. The only way to dispose of them permanently is to incinerate them which causes a lot of pollution and is not environmentally viable.

  5. Use biodegradable sanitary pads, tampons or use menstrual cups • Use environmentally sustainable female hygiene products like Ugees- lingerie liquiddetergent • Use products from brands that use recyclablepackaging WHAT TODO?

  6. This is a subset of Menstrual Health Management. Every menstruating woman has the right to clean menstrual management material, also known as female hygiene products. Currently, many NGOs and Women Commissions in India are working hard to achieve this goal. In terms of policy, these issues have already been addressed, and taxes on sanitary napkins and related products have been significantly reduced. In actuality, socially and economically disadvantaged women continue to struggle with this and lag far behind the hygiene standards of urban women. Menstrual ManagementMaterial

  7. Conclusion A wide range of products to address MHM-related issues are easily and quickly available on the market. The main challenge is persuading uninformed rural women and girls to choose safer sanitary options in order to mitigate health problems caused by poor menstrual habits. The combined efforts of the government and the people in raising awareness about this critical issue can only result in a large-scale change.
