Optimization of Photoreceptor Power Consumption: Achieving Significant Energy Savings
The Photoreceptor Power Consumption Optimization project led by the team consisting of V.S. Guleria, Sompal Sharma, V.P. Joshi, and others resulted in remarkable energy efficiency improvements. Starting in January 2002 and completed by March 2002, the initiative achieved a total savings of 485,429 kWh (32.4% reduction from 2001) and $50.5K in cost savings. Key actions included optimizing AHU run hours, managing clean room operations efficiently, and minimizing unnecessary equipment run time, ultimately enhancing productivity and sustainability.
