  12. Where does Torque X – Torque X Builder fit in?Free download for Creator’s Club MembersFree updates as long as you have a Creator’sClub Membership.A set of high level library for handling 2d objects. 3d is on the way.

  14. How does XNA Work? XNA GameStudio Express Torque X (TX)Torque X Builder (TXB) VS SP 1 Vista PC VS SP 1 C# Express XBOX 360

  15. So, what’s the big deal with TorqueX/Builder?Torque X generates C# code to build games in XNA. You must still compile, deploy, and execute using Game Studio Express.Torque X Builder is really the licensed part. It is GUI allowing you to add objects, properties, and methods. This data is all saved in XML.The magic is that Torque X reads “levels” from XML files. You don’t have to hard code objects, but still have the ability to do so!

  16. So, what’s the big deal with TorqueX/Builder?Could you live without Torque X?Yes. Would you want to?Maybe… It’s got overhead…

  18. What’s New with XNA Game Studio (2.0)? XNA Game Studio 2.0 works in all versions of Visual Studio 2005. This includes Standard and Professional, as well as many other specific editions. The new and improved interface makes it easier to manage your Xbox 360 console. Managing and building content is easier and more consistent in XNA Game Studio.

  19. What’s New with XNA Game Studio (2.0)? Includes project templates for content importers and processors. Can configure how content is processed with the new ability to set parameters on Content Processors.

  20. What’s new in the XNA Framework (2.0)? Create rich multiplayer games over Xbox LIVE using the new networking APIs. Create Audio more effectively with the new XACT editor! Host XNA Framework games easily inside a Windows Form.

  21. What’s new in the XNA Framework (2.0)? Use the virtualized GraphicsDevice: no more special code to handle device reset and recreate! Take advantage of render targets that are more flexible, consistent, and easier to use. Xbox 360 and Windows now support multiple render targets (MRTs) as well. Easily nest one component inside another thanks to improvements in GameComponent.
