Get ready for an exciting sixth-grade year! Your school day starts with homeroom at 8:05 AM and features seven engaging periods, including Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Don't forget your supplies: a Trapper Keeper, pens, notebooks, and more! Each student will have a locker for personal items and scheduled breaks for access. Join clubs and activities like Sports Teams and Academic Team. Get to know your teacher, Mrs. Mann, who loves reading and travel, and can't wait to inspire you this year!

  2. Your Schedule… 8:05- 8:17 Homeroom 8:17-9:07 1st Period 9:07-10:00 2nd Period 10:00-10:05 Morning Break 10:05-11:00 3rd Period 11:00-11:30 Lunch 11:30-12:30 4th Period 12:30-1:20 5th Period 1:20-1:30 Afternoon Break 1:30-2:25 6th Period 2:25-3:00 7th Period/Study Hall

Supply List (you can get a copy from your homeroom teacher) All ClassesStudents will keep these supplies! 1 *1 Trapper Keeper or 1 Three Ring Binder with a zippered pencil pouch *Pencils/erasers and 1 large pink eraser *1 package of notebook paper *6 folders for binder or trapper keeper Language Arts/Math/Science/Social Studies *8 Composition Books ~100 sheets sewn-in pages~college-ruled if possible HomeroomSupplies *2 large boxes of Kleenex *1 roll of paper towels *2 boxes of colored pencils *1 box of lead pencils *2 bottles of glue *1 package of copy paper *1 package of notebook paper

  5. Lockers… • Each student will be assigned a locker by their homeroom teacher the first day of school. • Students will need to keep jackets and book packs in their lockers at all times. • Students have scheduled locker breaks through out the day to get materials from their lockers.

A little bit about me… • I teach 6th grade Language Arts and this is my 5th year of teaching. • I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2008. • I am originally from Sparta, Kentucky where all my family lives. • I am married to Jordan Mann, who is a teacher and coach Rowan County High School. • We have one daughter, McKynlee, who is 17 months old.

  9. More about me… • My birthday is December 29th. • I have a two dogs, a boxer named Oscar and a border collie named Rylee. • I enjoy reading, walking, and exercising. • I love to travel and my favorite place that I have been is Cozumel, Mexico.
