  6. The Variety of Living Things • Movement – All living things can move, some more obvious than others

  7. The Variety of Living Things • Nutrition – Need to take in material from their environment. Require energy to live

  8. The Variety of Living Things • Respiration – Must extract energy from the food they eat, breathing

  10. The Variety of Living Things • Response – Sensitivity, reacting to the environment around them
