  4. Where do you want to be in 2020? • You may be entering your last year of college in 2020 • What you do now has a direct impact on high school and where you are in 2020 Do you have 20/20 vision?

  5. SKILLS NEEDED FOR 21ST CENTURY SUCCESS: • Technological competence • Collaborative work • Problem solving • Critical thinking 2020 Vision

  6. What Is Discipline? • Training that corrects, molds, or perfects the mental faculties or moral character • Who has been in a class where the students are not demonstrating disciplined behavior? Discipline

  7. Lack of discipline negatively impacts • Our ability to fulfill our vision and mission • Your ability to attain your goals for 2020 • Your preparation for High School Discipline

New Behavior Cards distributed for Q2 • 4th Demerit is referral to Admininstration • No 5th demerit • Disruption, Disrespect, Insubordination = Automatic ISS • Silent Transitions between classes • No agenda/card = Automatic Detention • Consequences for Tardies – Warning, Silent Lunch, Detention, 5th tardy = ISS Great Expectations

  9. Earn Privileges • Student involvement led by Student Council • Dress Down days earned through Paw Tracks • Celebration Assemblies • Celebration Field Trips Rewards
