  2. Samuel de Champlain • Lifespan- was born in France in 1567 and died on December 25, 1635 in Quebec. • He made twenty-one voyages • He traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Canada, Spain, and Mexico • Explored to the country of France.

Samuel de Champlain • The reason he went on his voyage is because he wanted to discover a water route across the continent. • The result of Samuel de Champlain’s voyage is he took his crew half way out the St. Lawrence River and met the Algonquin Indians. They told him not to go any farther, so Samuel stayed where he was and traded with the Indians.

  5. In our opinion, we think Samuel de Champlain was very important in history ,because he was one of the best explorers in history, and he was also the father of Canada.
