Final Project Guidelines: Sci-Fi Story and Race Car Report Due Before Vacation

DESCRIPTION

As we approach vacation, please remember to submit your sci-fi story by the end of period 2 or 8. Additionally, wrap up your race car project report during periods 4, 5, and 6. Ensure it follows the scientific method format: Question, Hypothesis, Variables, Procedure, Math conversion (m/s to mph), Data table, Graph, and Conclusion. Reports must be clean, neatly written, and free of torn or crinkled paper. Legible handwriting and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation are essential. Avoid piecemeal submissions; everything must be cohesive and organized.

  1. 12/18/13 • Periods 2 and 8 – We should be finishing the sci-fi story, today. Due before vacation. • Periods 4,5,6 – Wrap-up your project. It should be nicely written in the scientific method order. Please do not attach piecemeal work and say that is your report. If the report is on torn paper, and/or crinkled paper, or if parts, other than the bar graph and data table are on individual sheets of paper – it will not be accepted and you will have to “redo” over vacation.

  2. Final race car project report • Question • Hypothesis • Variables • Procedure • Show all the math work to convert from meters-per-second to miles-per-hour • Data table/written results • Graph • Conclusion • Needs to be presented in a nice neat manner, on clean sheets of paper. Legible handwriting is a must and spelling, grammar and punctuation is a must.
