  4. Arquitectura FTTx FTTx es un termino genérico de arquitectura para designar hasta que punto esta la F.O en redes de acceso. FTTN=FiberTo The Node FTTC=FiberTo The Curb FTTB=FiberTo The Building FTTH=FiberTo The Home

  6. PON= PassiveOptical Network Son redes ópticas que se consideran pasivas debido a que los únicos elementos activos son los equipos de la oficina central y el cliente. Se constituyen por 2 bloques macro> OLT (Optical Line Terminal): Es el equipo activo en la central ODN (OpticalDistribution Terminal): Es la red de F.O (pasiva) y todos sus componentes asociados (splitters, conectores, etc). Se conforma por 3 segmentos: red feeder, red de distribución, red de drop. ONT (Optical Network Terminal): Es el equipo activo terminal del cliente.
