Desert Streams partners international (DeSPI) South Sudan DESPI- Is an indigenous African missions’ agency Call out through passion for souls with the purpose of glorifying God’s name among the unreached And ungospolised people group of Africa and the Muslim world in general. The organization is a faith Base Ministry on the Biblical absolute with sole dependency on God for sustainability and progress.

Challenges of Missions in the 21st Century • The ripe harvest - John 4:35. • Plenty harvest - Mathew 9:37-38. • Past harvest - Jeremiah 8:20. • Our response as a church for the harvest • Psalm2:8 ‘’Ask of me and I shall give you the heathen for thine Inheritance , and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession’’

Global status of world evangelization • Challenges before the church • World population is about 7.1 Billion People. • i)Christianity -2.2 Billion • ii)Islam -1.8Billion • iii)Hinduism -over 811.3Million • Iv)Buddhism-Encompasses much of china 1.2Billion plus South East Asia. • V) Tribals -90Million • Vi)Atheists, Jews and other Non Religion-1.1Billion

WHY ARE THEY UNREACHED? • Lack of research and information. • Satanic stronghold and peoples’ resistance to the gospel. • Geographical and tribal barriers. • Wrong strategies. • Cultural and religious barriers. • Denominationalism. • Worldliness/Ungodly motives. • Financial Barrier i.e. Lack of Financing Mission • Sin
