W2000 at FNAL

  2. Present Status • Attending Classes- Active Directory, W2000 Security • Lucent DNS and DHCP Testing • Small Experimental domain (2-3 systems) • W2000 Migration Plan Team Created • Small number of W2000 RC2 installed.

  3. Near Future • Create working group involving NT factions • Test applications on workstations • Experiment with adding Workstations and Member Servers to FNAL domain

  4. Active Directory Schema • Possible rename of fnal.gov -> fnal.org • Internal name of nt.fnal.org • Follow Tree structure for site (suggest HEP become a forest of trees, each site a different tree.)
