Join us as we recap the IEEE Region 4 GOLD and WIE meeting held from January 28-29, 2006, presented by Kristi Brooks. The meeting focused on enhancing programs for recent graduates and promoting women's involvement in engineering. Key initiatives include online seminars, networking opportunities, mentoring projects, and outreach to technical societies. GOLD Activities • What Should our Program Do? • Hold at least 2 non-technical programs/year • Work with PACE, Educational Activities, Student Branches and other Chairs to coordinate programs • Have Fun! • Who Should Attend GOLD Programs? • Everyone! Although GOLD is tailored toward the recent graduate, but don’t check ID’s!
