  1. Emerging Careers: Preparing Your Firm and Yourself for Tomorrow Facilitated By: Richard Harbridge and Tom Koulopoulos #ILTA #ECareers

  2. This session was intended to kick off discussions for a new ILTA initiative. We wanted to identify areas in the industry where resource demand exceeds capacity and determine how ILTA can help interested firms and individuals prepare to fill those gaps, extending value to member firms and law departments. With 50+ attendees in the session, there were several different interests in the room, ranging from how to fill current gaps in LPM/AFA resource pools and how to build an effective training team to how different regions address resourcing. We mapped the conversation (provided as separate PDF) in order to capture the various audience interests with a commitment to follow up with multiple avenues. Those avenues include:  ILTA's Law Firm 101 program a follow-on webinar with Richard Harbridge around emerging careers discussions with ILTA leadership around a "home" for our newly emerged LPM/AFA colleagues in the ILTA structure Stay tuned for further developments as we explore emerging careers!
