  1. SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS WHAT WE DO ABOUT THE SOLUTIONS AGAINST THE PROBLEMS IN OUR SCHOOL

  2. The information about the children of broken families determined by each class guidance counsellor via student identification forms is offered to the Guidance and Counseling Service of the school and then the deputy principal is informed about the results.

  3. Communication is provided with the other teachers of each class and the parent-teacher association related to these children.

  4. Such children are led to the social activities according to their abilities by the class guidance counsellors,the teachers of social activities,the school guidance counsellor and the school administration.

  5. Financial aids are carried out for them in line with the determined requirements by the foundation of Zonguldak Technical and Industrial Vocational School,the parent-teacher association,the school administration and volunteer teachers.

  6. It is provided with them to take part in group therapy by the school guidance counsellor for gaining social skills,ability to cope with the difficulties and problem solving,vocational development in theory and in practice,gaining vocational and technical skills to be employed after graduation from 4-year-experience at school.

  7. Regular meetings or interviews are carried out with the individual responsible from their family members after researching the reasons of parental separation and they are guided to help their children in getting vocational success,providing social and psychological adaptation in the process of self-improvement.

  8. The parent and the school integration is provided to be permanent. • The process of attending the school and social activities is observed and checked regularly.

  9. Such children are given some responsibilities during the workshop works,they are provided to have sense of mission and they are encouraged to get ready individually for a career by vocational teachers with the help of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in their own fields.

  10. It is emphasized that having vocational and technical skills will help them how to find and evaluate employment opportunities. • Those who are marked as having little or no vocational competence are trained in line with their levels and skills.

  11. They are guided about recognition of the occupations in their fields,having vocational and technical equipments,preparation and adaptation for the working life by their vocational teachers and teachers of the social club which is introducing occupations to the students related to their fields.

  12. The cooperation is carried out for these children to adapt the labour force and take part in the employment of some working places or business firms.The period of their apprenticeship is followed and observed in 10th,11th and 12th classes.It is tried to let them be graduates equipped with vocational experience and gain convenience in finding jobs according to their competences and skills.

  13. In case of not being able to meet their needs or cope with their problems, those who are seen as more disadvantaged group are led to the Guidance and Research Center;if this center can’t manage to find any solutions,these children are sent to hospitals or rehabilitation centers.
