  2. 12 Powerful Words 1. Analyze- Break into parts, describe or explain each part and how they relate 2. Argue- Defend a position. Provide reasons in support of how you feel. 3. Apply- Show how an idea or concept explains a certain situation/ problem. 4. Comment- Offer statements/ opinions on a topic. Discuss or explain its meaning.

Discuss- Explore different points of view; look at positive and negative points of both. 7.Compare- Show similarities between two things.
