  2. The Lesson What?:Students will gain a profound knowledge of Egyptian social classes. How? :Students will be put into different groups with each assigned specific social class and then create a story. When?:Students will work in groups on researching in class and creating a story at home.

  3. Web 2.0 Tools Tildee– allows you to create your own “how to do” page. VoiceThread-holds images, documents and videos and allows people to comment in five different ways.

  5. How will Tildee be Used in the History Lesson? Students will work in groups of three. Students will research their social class and put up information on their tildee. Students must also include the sources where they found their information. Teachers will grade their tildees based on a checklist given before the project.

  8. How will VoiceThreadbe Used in the History Lesson? Students will  join a new group that contains one member that researched each social class. They will collaborate on a story using the information each group posted on tildee for each social class.

  10. How is this Lesson Differentiated? Members of each group will be assigned a role. -researcher     -image designer     -recorder     -vocals(voicethread only) Textual resources will be available for three different levels.

  11. Why is this lesson effective? Students must decide the significance of the different information they find. Lesson provides the students more responsibility and more ownership of their education. The use of technology allows them to easily collaborate with their classmates. Lesson will encourage open-mindedness in the students.
