  2. Brief History • Dżem - Polish band playing music from the border of rock and blues founded in 1973 by brothers Adam and Beno Bran and Paul Berger. Counted among the most important bands in the history of Polish rock and blues music.

  3. LEADER • In December 1973 the band was joined by singer Richard Riedel, and then in 1978 - guitarist George Styczyński. In the years 1973-1979 the activity was very irregular formation and until 1980 was an amateur status. After appearances at several festivals in Poland, including the debut of the festival in Jarocin, and foreign tour 1985 years released their debut studio album - Brick, which is considered one of the most important albums the band and the history of Polish rock. A year later was released live album Absolutely Live recorded during a concert at the theater STU in Krakow.

Career • In the second half of the 80th Richard Riedel gradually moved away from the team falling into drug addiction so that in 1986 and 1987, the group toured with Tadeusz Nalepa and 1988, she released an album together with Nalepa Numero Uno. But before that, they released two albums of original vocalist - Revenge of the bat and live Sleepwalkers - ie. quite hits Live. In 1989, he appeared instrumental albums Mercenary and The Band Plays On .... Two years later he released an album Detox is where you will find such hits as "Letter to M.", "How to painted bird" and "Dream of Victoria". At the same time complements discography album The Singles incorporates all single team. In 1993, he published the underdog and a year later - an acoustic album Acoustic.

  6. Sad finale leader • Due to declining health Riedel in the competition has emerged a new singer, Jacek Dewódzki. July 30, 1994, Richard Riedel died in hospital of a heart attack. As part of a tribute to the late artist was a concert recorded on CD letter to R. on 12 votes. With Dewódzkim team recorded four albums and a few hard rock stripped discs released in 1995, the Wind in 1997, the two-disc live album at the Opera House Jam Part. 1 and 2 in 1998-1999, and be or have in 2000. In 2001, the singer was Maciej Balcar, which debuted on the album 2004.
