  1. JLIP status for certification Daniel Bloch, Benoit Clément, Denis Gelé, Sébastien Greder, Isabelle Ripp-Baudot (IReS Strasbourg) D0 note available estimate of b-tagging efficiency : 5 methods used . light-tagging efficiency : 2 methods used All very consistent ! For JLIP cut < 1%: (b-tag) = 352(stat+syst)%, . (light-tag) = 1.10.1(stat+syst)% D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)

  2. Rejection of Kº and  Use SVT tools Reject K° if 0.47m()0.52 GeV and  if 1.10m(p)1.13 GeV D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)

  3. Taggability Require  2 tracks with pT>0.5 GeV among 5 categories : 6 CFT 3 SMT 7 CFT 1 SMT 7 CFT 2 SMT 7 CFT 3 SMT 7 CFT 4 SMT MC data Taggability = 71% in data . = 85% in QCD MC (Et(jet) > 60GeV) D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)

  4. Track multiplicity in jet • first four categories: in data : 2.8 (Et<60) – 3.5 (Et>60) in MC : 2.5 ( " ) - 3.5 ( "   ) • tracks with  7 CFT and 4 SMT: in data : 1.5 (Et<60) – 1.9 (Et>60) in MC : 3.1 ( " ) - 4.2 ( " ) in MCreject : 55% of tracks with 7 CFT and 4 SMT at random D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)

  5. JLIP performance in MC all tracks . Fb = 0.67 MC scale factor Fb = (b,data)/(b,MC) b - tag with rejection Fb=0.85 c - tag D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)

  6. JLIP performance in data vary the JLIP cut <0.1%, <0.5%, <1%, <2% Very good agreement between data and MC ! D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)

  7. Code location • on krutenau-clued0:/disk2/work/greder/jlip-code/ • strasbourg-analyze_v00.00.01.tar.gz  a general independent framework to perform physics analysis see heppackage/doc/README.txt • JLIP_d0framework.tar.gz  JLIP macro to run in the D0 framework see README.txt where example for implementation is provided D. Bloch (IReS Strasbourg)
