  1. Welcome Homeroom Advisement – Class of 2017 Monday October 20, 2014

  2. 9 Week Progress Report (You are half way through the semester!) Hand out Progress Reports Hand out Advisement Folders (Purple) Take out Advisement Worksheet – fill out the 9 Week Progress Report grade for each of your classes on your worksheet. Questions for Discussion: How are you doing? Did your grades improve? 5. Now see if you are on track…….go to the next slide…..

  3. Promotion requirements: • To become a Junior I must have: • 2 English / Language Arts credits • 2 Math credits • 2 Science Credits • 2 Social Studies credits • Plus 4 elective credits • Total: 12 Credits (out of a possible 16) • Take GMEOCT (Geometry / Biology / PhySci)

  4. College visits ALL Sophomores are encouraged to come and speak with college recruiters that visit our campus every week during all 3 lunches. Check out the school calendar for a list of colleges that will be visiting. Coming Up: October 28 Sewanee October 29th Berry College October 30th Birmingham Southern & University of Georgia October 31st Kennesaw State University
