  2. Entering the Room • Sit in Assigned Seat • Get Materials Ready paper, sharpen Pencil • Start Bell work • After the Tardy Bell the Floor is Mine!

  3. Seating • Always sit in assigned seat • Keep your desk clear • Purses and other materials should be under the desk or in your backpack

  4. Pledge of Alligence • 1st Period only • Each student will stand and respectfully say the pledge each morning before the announcements

  5. Bellwork • Each day a prompt will be written on the board • You are to record the prompt-word for word- and write a complete response

  6. Drills • Fire Drill • Tornado Drill • Earthquake Drill • Lock Down

  7. What if You are out of the room • From Library • Computer Lab • Restroom

  8. Papers To Turn In • Homework • Class Work • Projects • Up the row and across All submitted work in Drawer Number 1 or 2

  9. Paper Heading • Name • Date (When Assigned) • Period All in upper right hand position of Paper

  10. Daily Materials • Writing Utensil(pen or pencil) • Paper • Book • Lab Supplies as Needed or Requested

  11. Courtesy • Guests in the Room • Announcements • Don’t Speak when others are speaking • Respect others materials and property

  12. Housekeeping • Keep Room Clean • No trash in sinks or Drawers !!! • No trash on the floor • Sharpen Pencil At seat or sharpener on wall

  13. Food and Drink • If sold in school… Water, milk, breakfast to go You can have it, if you keep it clean!!

  14. My Pet Peeves • Language… No No’s Shut Up Flippin’ Freakin’ Sucks Can’t

  15. Listening Devices • Not permitted in the classroom • Earbuds, headphones, etc. should not be in your ears! • “Oh, I have it turned off, I promise it’s not on!”

  16. Phones • We can’t live without them…but they do not have a place in the classroom.

  17. Rest Room • One time per week permitted • Orange Pass from room 29 • No one permitted in the first or last 10 minutes of class…10/10 Rule

  18. Make Up Work • All Assignments will be kept in Class Journal • Papers will be kept in a designated place TBA

  19. PINK SLIP • When Your work is late • Not Complete • No Supplies For Class • Poor Attitude • I keep this in your folder

  20. Parent Contact Form • When you have a zero on an assignment your parents will be called!!

  21. Referrals • Discipline Sent to the office for an administrator to handle Course of action explained in the planner pgs. 16-22

  22. Assessment • No Talking after the first paper is handed out • Everyone deserves the same environment as the first person who finished

  23. End Of Class • Stay seated until the bell rings • We do not line up at the door • You or your class may be held after the bell

  24. What to Do When You are Finished and Others Are Not • Start Reading • Work On Homework • Questions??? • Examples… • BINGO CARD

  25. Tips For Success • Come to class • Stay caught up • Be organized • Read your notes/ book on a regular basis • Ask questions
