Status of projects • Links (~1010 BER over 20 m CAT6 cable) • Small upgrades possible (Phase word setting, longer reset periods, longer/safer initial phase scanning) • Web testing • Few more webs for testing, improvement of web quality • Test for noise behavior on detector and over time under way • Cover testing • Different tests led to confirmation of design and system quality (threshold baseline, noise, TDC resolution etc.) • Poster participation at TWEPP 2013 (proceedings pending)

Status of projects • Queuing simulations • Different versions for different syntaxes (24bit, 32bit) • Encouraging results about data rates • Possibility for data compression with packets (under study) • Easy-to-use-and-adjust VHDL test benches could prove useful for further research of the subject • Front end remote programming • Library and firmware ready (under debugging) • Software under construction

End of contract • Participation in the group since October 2011 • Worked in building hardware, firmware and software for a new read out system • Worked in quality testing for electronics • Involvement in installation of detector • Implementation of systems and support for Dry run and Technical run (2012)

End of contract • Learning since October 2011 • Radiation protection • Working with high voltage in industrial environment • Working at heights • Essential principles of signal integrity • Different courses, presentations and workshops for FPGA design/ PCB design • Participation with a poster at TWEPP 2013: Performance evaluation of multiple sub-nanosecond TDCs implemented in low-cost FPGA
