  2. Why Do You Choose This Job For Yourself? I chose this job for me because I am very good at doing hair and nails. I believe I can be successful at this job because I can take my time at it. My mom taught me how to do these things carefully…and I pretty much got the hang of it.

  3. Do You Know Someone In This Field?? My mom used to work in a Cosmetology school for 4 years. She said that she was getting tired a couple things….so she decided to just quit. But she was a very hard worker at the things she was doing….and she encouraged me to try it.

  4. What Will Be The Duties At Your Job? I wanted to be a Nail Technican, a Manicurist, and a Make-up Artist. I wanted to do these things because my mom taught me how to do these things….and now, I’m like a professional at them—literally. I even do every each and one of these things to my family—basically because I’m good at it.

  5. The Educational Requirements; In order to become liscened, one must have graduated from a state-liscensed barber or Cosmetology school and have to be at least 16 years old. Some states require graduation from high school while others require as little as eighth grade education.

  6. The Special Skills Involved; They say that you HAVE to learn how to get along with people before you learn how to do ANYTHING. Because not learning how to get along with people can really ruin your reputation. Second, you have to know what you are doing on your job. Third, you also have to have all of the supplies you need to get the job done.

  7. The Salary Per Month For My Job: The Salary can average up to about $50,000 annual Cosmetology Salary.

  8. City and State I Plan To Live: To get to that job, I plan to live in Dallas, Texas.

  9. Rent /Mortgage per Month For an Average Where I Plan To Live: I plan to live in Dallas, Texas, in Archstone Park Cities.
