  3. In Roman times, the food was used not only to fed yourself, Romans used the food to distinguish the people. Depending what you ate, people knew if you were rich or poor. Obviously, the richest people organized banquets to show their wealth to the others.

  4. ROMAN DIET • Romans ate betweenthree and five times everyday. Butthefourinconditionalmealstheydid in a daywere: • Breakfast: the breakfast is the first meal. They ate a lot during the meal because they were held until lunchtime. • Lunch: the lunch is the second meal. During the lunch, they ate very few food. because later they ate prandium. • Prandium: the prandium is a type of lunch. In this meal the Romans ate a lot because during the lunch they ate very few foods. • Dinner: the dinner is the last meal. the romans believed it was the most important meal of the day. Because they had to stand all night until the next meal, breakfast.
