Objective:Scholars will work in pairs to complete activities about important explorers during the Age of Exploration. Tasks/ Agenda: 1. Complete Warm Up 2. Complete Project/Poster - Presentations 3. WorksheetsHomework: WORKSHEETS DUE IN COMPLETION – STUDY GUIDE!! Study for Quiz on the 4 explorers: Columbus, Prince Henry, Magellan and Vasco De Gama!!

  3. Warm Up #16:1. If you could trade places with any of the explorers we have talked about which one would you want to be and why? Objective:Scholars will work in groups to teach the class the lesson plans and activities that they created about their assigned explorer. Tasks/ Agenda:1. Complete Warm Up 2. Finish Presentations 3. Explorer Test – Open Notes 4. Reflection Homework: Research 3 facts about the Renaissance to share with classmates. The most unique fact wins a prize.

Why or Why not? • What was the best thing for you about the assignment? • Are there any things you would do differently if you did the project again? Explain. • What advice would you give another student who is planning a project similar to yours? • Looking at the IB learner profiles chose the type of profile that best fits the assignment. How did you exhibit those characteristics? Explain. • Which group do you think taught the class about their explorer in the best way? Which explorer did you learn most about? Explain why in complete sentences.
