1. Which place will the grass grow best?

2. Purpose The reason we are doing this project is because we want to see if light affects how tall the grass will grow. Hypothesis We think that the grass will grow the best in the class room.

3. Materials List • 45 grass seeds • Potting soil • 9 styrom cups • A pencil • Computers • A recorting sheet • Classroom counter • Shelly counter • Sienceroom closet

4. Procedures 1-We got a package of styrofoam cups. 2-We took cups out of the package. 3-We opened up the bag of poting soil. 4- we put 2 cups of potting soil. 5- We opened up the bag of grass seed. 6- We planted 5 grass seeds in each cup. 7- We wrote on cups the cups were we were going to put the cups. We got a beaker and measured 10 ml of water and watered each cup.

5. Procedures 9- We put them were they needed to go. 10-We water them every day for five days. 11-We check how much they grow on a recorting sheet every day.

7. Conclusion My partner and I were wrong with our hypothesis because we over watered two of our plants and because of that our seeds did not sprout in the science closet, or the class room. If my partner and I were going to do this experment again we would not water the plants that much.
