Signal Comparison Study: CDC vs. SDC Plateau Curves and Rate Dependence in 2006 Experiment

This study compares the amplitude threshold and signal handling of CDC and SDC detectors in an experiment conducted in November 2006. Differences in plateau curves, rate dependence, wire masking effects, and event conditions are analyzed. Issues with TKO, AMT, TDC, and Daq systems are identified for improvement.

  2. Comparison of previous Exp. • Both • ASD threshold is lower (400mV(common) ---> 170mV(CDC), 240mV(SDC) ) • CDC • It is made not to read the signal of the wires that hit beam directly • SDC • repair ( change the (burned) straws)

  11. skip event condition • If there are AMT TDCs in relation to all TKO TDCs, this event is good. • check correspondence of ①current TKO and AMT event, ②current TKO and previous AMT event, ③previous TKO and current AMT event. • If there follows ② 4(in program skipparam1) event, and if in those event less than 2(in program skipparam0) ① event, skip daq2 event. same goes for daq1. But there have been same bugs yet. I will remake it.
