4-Hybrid Thermal Test System Status

  5. Current Needs • Water manafold design (1L/m) • closed loop with chilled water (400w) • Dry air manifold design (.02L/m & 0.2L/m) • dry air or Nitrogen? If N then bottles or gen? • NIM Crate (pulse gen, nim-ttl-nim, nim or) CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE

  6. Current Needs • Dedicated PC setup with; bar code reader, serial port, 2 PCI slots for Aachen modules • Plumbing (air+water) design • ASC Rep contacted to visit UCSB re valves CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE

  7. Future Plans • Design Miniature Temp Sensor PC Card • Install LabView on PC and test CERN code • Design Solenoid valve Interface (Dean) • Complete Tests on Coolie Box • trouble shoot bad relay control board • install new power transformer CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE
