  2. Introduction The rain forest help people live. Rain forest's are located in o South America, Pacific Islands Central America, Africa and Southern Asia. Rainforests need areas of heat and a lot of rain. There are animals and plants in the rain forest’s are important.

  3. Forest Floor and Understory The forest floor and the understory are the two lowest layers. The forest floor are the two lowest layer and is also deepest and darkest. Also very wet .The understory is the second lowest and humid. It also has small mammals and amphibians and a little more light.

  4. Canopy and Emergent Layers The canopy and the emergent layers are the two highest layers. They are full of animals and plants. The emergent layer is the top layer.

  5. Supplies/Products We get many supplies from rain forests. We get many kinds of fruits and vegetables from the rain forests. Cocoa and vanilla are other. We also get gum and wood.

  6. Appearance The Howler Monkey is a mammal, they also have large bodies. Howler monkeys also have round nostrils and a short snout. They can also be up to 56-92 centimeters not including their tails, which can be equally as long.

  7. Habitat Howler monkeys can live in Central America. They can also live in South America. They can also live in the tops of the canopy.

  8. Diet Howler monkeys feed their babies milk. They also eat leaves, fruits and figs. They also eat flowers and drink water from holes in trees.

  9. Predators And Pray The howler monkey gets eaten by birds like the harpy eagle. Scientists say that it will be extinct in 35 years.

  10. Adaptations The howler monkey can be black, brown, red and mantled. Howler monkeys has a long tail to help them survive.

  11. Interesting Facts The howler monkey is the loudest animal on land, the only animal louder is the blue whale. Also instead of the mail and the female being the same color the mail is black and the female is brown. Did you know that when a mail is born it is brown like a female instead of black like a mail.
