  2. A solution was found for one of the largest corporations in HK by engaging with CMS Asia. Client Profile • A large multinational manufacturing company IT department engaged contingent workers both directly and via recruitment agencies. • This represented a little over 33% of their overall resources for their IT department. • Over 25 recruiting agencies were engaged to source contractors paying margins ranging from 25% to 50%, plus on-costs. • All directly engaged contractors were being payrolledthrough one of those recruiting agencies for a significant cost without a strong service provided. Problem • The client was paying out high margins to recruitment agencies without any structured service provided. • In addition, there was no transparency of the costs, no control of the resourcing process, no governance of HR compliance and no follow-up on the workforce. • The client also received many different invoices coming from multiple channels with various payment terms and conditions.
