  18. Gethsemane Reveals Jesus was in utter anguish “deeply grieved to the point of death” “very distressed and troubled” “being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down”

  19. Gethsemane Reveals Why might this have been such anguish? - Jesus was God in the flesh - He knew His purpose and destiny Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going…” John 8:14a

In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety. Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. Hebrews 5:7
