  2. DAY 1 PRIDE Logistics

  3. Open House Details PRIDE Sunday, December 4th Arrive at 12:45, stay until 3:00. Wear black pants/skirt and a white shirt. Dressy. Eat lunch at home before Open House. Leave your coat in your locker.

  4. Expectations & Commitment PRIDE Turn in permission slip signed by a parent Attend all 4 lunchtime training sessions Do two homework reflections on time Read BCS Points of Pride and Good Speaking Skills Attend Open House Be positive Be a good representative of our school family

  5. Good Speaking Skills PRIDE S Stand up straight Smile Strong eye contact Stiff handshake Speak clearly and confidently Stay positive

  6. YOU as a leader! PRIDE Why do we have students lead tours instead of using teachers or parents? Why were YOU selected to be an ambassador? Homework Reflection due next session

  8. Your Audience PRIDE Who will you be leading on your tour? What do you think it’s like for the students who have to leave their home schools? What do you think it’s like for the parents who have to leave their home schools? What do you think your guests are thinking about what our school looks like? Sounds like?

  10. What are you supposed to say? PRIDE Simple…just tell what a typical day is like! Tell what we normally do. BE POSITIVE!! Remember your AUDIENCE.
