  2. Conclusion As one may remember, this paper began with a personal story of how one teacher changed my life. This story of one teacher’s influence clearly shows why teachers are so important. Teachers, as a profession, are crucial to helping our society develop and excel. Many people, when asked, could explain how instrumental teachers were in shaping who they became. Entering this profession requires understanding the responsibilities, the qualifications, the benefits and drawbacks and the impact of this profession on society. Why would you not want a career that is so important?

  3. Return to the Introduction • Begin by returning to your hook. Remind the reader of how your hook related to the topic and how your hook relates to the reader! Example: As one may remember, this paper began with a personal story of how one teacher changed my life. This story of one teacher’s influence clearly shows why teachers are so important. Many people, when asked, could explain how instrumental teachers were in shaping who they became.

  4. Revisit the thesis • Revisit your thesis in a way that reminds the reader of why this topic matters. Example: Teachers, as a profession, are crucial to helping our society develop and excel.
