  2. What is anime Anime is Japanese’s animations that differ from normal cartoons in looks and drawing techniques of anime are very similar but some are very different from the rest.

  3. Anime History • Anime began at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with animation techniques. The oldest known anime was first screened in 1917. • The earliest known anime was produced in 1907 and it consists of fifty frames drawn directly onto a strip of celluloid. It shows a young boy writing the Japanese characters, then turning towards the viewer, removing his hat, and offering a salute. Although the creator's identity is unknown.

  4. What are the characteristics of anime characters Anime drawings are exaggerated with big eyes big hair. Sometimes they also have, have small lips.

  5. Eye styles Japanese anime/manga drawers decided to create big eyes because it showed the expressions. A anime/manga Artist called Osamu Tezuka first used this technique he was heavily inspired by American cartoons

  6. Different Manga/Anime Drawings • There are many different type of anime drawings such as chibi, realistic, normal, and last but not least the computerized anime.

  7. Face expressions The red vain/Popped vain: In anime there is something called The red vain and another name for it is Popped vain this is a red cross on a characters head it indicates or says that this characters is angry, or be annoyed or frustrated. Funny eyes: In almost every modern anime you can find the funny eyes the funny eyes shows the characters eyes as all white this indicates or says that this characters is confused, angry, happy, or hopelessness. The XD: The XD is a very know thing it is used in anime, manga, and chatting sites or programs the XD means extreme happiness. The (X) means squiggly eyes the (D) is the mouth.

  8. Face expressions Blushing: Anime have many face expressions. You can know the characters feelings by looking at their face. Characters in anime and manga blush and when they blush their cheeks and face turns red. Red faces or cheeks can show love, embarrassment also if the characters in manga or anime blush it means he/she is in love with another person also can be shown as a cuteness effect. Sweat drop: In anime and manga there is an expression called sweat drop and sweat drop can show that this he/she is worried about something or someone, or he/she is confused about something it can be located at the side of their head.

  9. Influence on the world • The success of the anime cartoon Pokémon helped spread anime around the world, it was first screened in the late 1990’s and is still being viewed today. Since the 19th century many many people worldwide have been interested in Japan and it’s culture. Worldwide, the number of people studying Japanese increased.

  10. AOI Environments •  Many anime series are trying to persuade us to protect the environment and help save animals. An example of this would be Tezuka Osamu’s “Black Jack”, in this anime a black jack saves the animals by taking care of them when they are sick. Moreover in the series “wolf family” Nobita and Doraemon help the hunters find and kill the Japanese wolf, but then Nobita changes his mind and wants to help and protect them instead.
