Vocabulary Enhancement and Text Structure Analysis Assignment

In this assignment, students will enrich their vocabulary by writing essential words in their vocabulary notebooks. Following the Common Core standard RL.8.5, they will also compare and contrast the structures of two or more texts, analyzing how these structures influence meaning and style. Students will document questions from our recent Classscape activities, identifying nouns and verbs, and then rephrase these questions in simpler language for better comprehension. This exercise promotes critical thinking and language skills.
