  1. Are you a fan of or a follower of Jesus? • Fan • Enthusiastic admirer • Only knows about • Fickle • Follower of Jesus (discipleship) • Lays down life • Knows personally

  2. True followers of Jesus do not neglect gathering with other believers regardless of what they are going through (Heb. 10:25). Followers come to church for 2 Reasons: • Worship Jesus • Encourage others

  3. sheep = flock cattle = herd fish = school wolves = pack lions = pride bees = swarm

  4. rabbits = warren quail = covey mice = mischief whales = pod vultures = venue raccoons = gaze porcupines = prickle penguins = rookery lizards = lounge bats = colony stingrays = fever giraffes = tower rhinoceros = crash hippos = bloat

  5. What do you call a group of believers? CHURCH

Acts 2:42-47 – All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. 43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. 44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.

  14. Isaiah’s Formula Isaiah 35:1-2 – Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses. 2 Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the Lord will display His glory, the splendor of our God.
