  3. WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE TRIAD * Maximize air wing AIRCRAFT READINESS (Group Goal) * Each amigo has goals to support “Group Goal”

  4. PROCESS TO ACHIEVE GROUP GOAL * Effective communication * Working as a “TEAM” * Each member’s management of resources * “Give & Take” to reach consensus

  5. CAG MAINTENANCE OFFICER * “Primary” war fighting customer * Conduit to squadrons/MMCOs * Works the “Non-Routine” * Validates/prioritizes squadron requirements * Directs work of CVBG Field Maintenance Team

  6. WHAT THE EFFECTIVE CAGMO PROVIDES * Validated/prioritized squadron requirements * Involvement in scheduling of Scheduled Maintenance * Views A799’s as potential training opportunities * Fully participates in reducing off-ship requirements * Consolidates NMCS/PMCS requirements when possible

  7. WHAT MOTIVATES THE CAGMO * “Enough” up aircraft * Keeping the CAG happy * “Proper” “O” level maintenance * Helping his MMCO’s/Squadrons

  8. WHAT THE CAGMO NEEDS * Aircraft moves/turns/spots from the Handler * “Correct” parts from off-ship * “Quick” turn around of parts by AIMD * Accessible and well stocked R-Pool * Extra effort support from AIMD * Power, lights, SINS, O2, nitrogen, HP/LP air and LOX * Weapons and racks to hang them on from “Red Shirts” * Sleep

  9. SUPPLY OFFICER * A “Wealth” of supply know-how * A busy individual * Has a long list of customers * Senior member of the Triad

  10. WHAT MOTIVATES THE SUPPO * Keep off ships down * Keep OFC-50 costs down * An “R-Pool Accommodation” over 60 percent * Reducing AWP * Keep the many customers happy * NIIN’s for material requirements (He hates P/N only) * Valid off-ship orders (no downgrades or cancellations!) * High RFI Rate!

  11. WHAT THE SUPER STAR SUPPO PROVIDES * Gets ready before cruise - Gets the “Right” consumables on board - Gets ALL repair & return back - Tries to get 100 percent range and depth - Puts “Correct” components in the R-Pool

  12. WHAT THE SUPER STAR SUPPO PROVIDES(CONT’D) * Scrubs requirements - Make sure “Right” part really isn’t on the ship - Make sure “Correct” part is on order - Looks for suitable substitutes - Ruthlessly chases “Stock Dues”

  13. WHAT THE SUPER STAR SUPPO PROVIDES(CONT’D) * Sets up an effective logistic pipeline - Puts “Quality” people on the beach to expedite - Makes good plan for crossing Pacific - Keeps COD’s in front of the boat * Accurate SUDAPS/NALCOMIS component inventory/location

  15. WHAT MOTIVATES THE AIMD OFFICER * Keep CO / XO happy * Make the CAGMO look good * Keep the the R-Pool stocked * Expand repair capability * Keep EXREP/AWM/TBOS count down * Low AWP and stock due

WHAT AN EFFECTIVE AIMD OFFICER DOES • * Increases repair capability / fixes consumables • * Understands the customer • * Mediator between SUPPO and CAGMO (provides maintenance insight) • * Solves problems (thinking outside the box) • * Adviser to the CAGMO • * Views Y-codes as a potential opportunity for training • * Doesn’t see Plane Checks as a permanent work around • * “NO” AUTO BCMs
