  2. Slide 1/3 60% Savings On Electricity and Heating Bills:- By Insulating The roof, walls and floors of a public sector housing Unit and by and by installing double- paned windows and & efficient boiler , It is possible to save up to 60% on the energy bill , cancelling out the cost of renovation.

  3. Slide 2/3 Variable affecting a building thermal inertia A building’s design and insulatation are essential to improving the thermal inertia, that is, its capacity to retain its temperature irrespective the outside conditions , the Variable that affect a building energy quality are :- • The architecture and arrangement of the interior spaces. • The Proportion and characteristics of the glazed surfaces. • The thermal conductivity of the walls and portitions , meaning their tendency to transmit and retain heat . • The solar factor meaning , the proportion of the solar energy converted into heat inside the building, which is a positive factor in winter but , negative in a summer. The presence or absence of thermal bridge (gaps where walls, roof of flor meets leading to heat lossess). • The ventillation system.

  4. Slide 3/3 Controlled Mechanical Ventilation (CMV):- Due-flow CMV is a system that recovers heat from fouled air extracted from a building and uses it to heat new filtered incoming air from the outside . A fan injects new air from the outside . A fan injects new air into the main room through air vents. This limits the heat losses that is inherent in ventilation and creates heatings saving by recovering upto 70% (90% in high performance system) of the energy in the indoor air . In France only 1% of housing is equipped with CMV . By 2020, all existing buildings open to the public may be equipped with dual flow CMV.
