  2. Auditorium • The auditorium walls have been completely repainted. • The floors have been repaired and painted and are awaiting the installation of new seating.

  3. Looking at what will be the new lobby to the gymnasium. Gymnasium

  4. Entrance to Gym • The current doors will remain to the new gymnasium lobby. • During the first few months of school, students will use these doors to access the cafeteria. • By the time the weather turns cold, the hallway to the cafeteria will be re-opened.

  5. Gymnasium • This view shows the current hallway that runs alongside the gym. • Hallways like this will run along all four sides of the new gym and will be used for indoor walking and running. • This new layout will allow the entire area to be closed off during an event providing added security.

  6. New fitness area • Looking at what will be the new fitness room.

  7. Future site of the new gymnasium • The new gymnasium area will include all new locker rooms for boys and girls, the athletic director’s office and be over-looked by a press area.

  8. Expected completion • During the 2010-11 school year, High School students will be using the Middle School gymnasium for physical education. • The new gym is expected to be complete for the beginning of the 2011-12 school year.

  9. Traffic change at GMS Changes in the traffic pattern at GMS will be as follows: • Parents will enter the parking lot closest to Rte. 29 to pick-up and drop-off students and proceed through loop in reverse from last year, exiting the lot by GMS building. • An additional entrance to the parking lot will be used for parking. • Watch for signs!
