  3. Introduction • Projects were included in the 2010/11 Capital Funding Plan • Address ongoing maintenance of the District’s facilities. • The total value of the major construction contracts that were awarded is $861,390.

  4. Roof Replacement at McKnight Elementary School • Replaced 42,500 square feet of rubber roofing that was installed in 1990. • Replace Greenhouse roofing, gutters and downspouts. • Installed new roof insulation. • Replaced and relocated roof drains. • Installed new metal roof edge. • Project should be substantially completed on August 25, 2010.

Installation of Elevators for the Cafeteria and Technology Education areas at NAI • Replaced the existing chair lifts with elevators. • Modified existing building to provide space for the two new elevators and equipment rooms. • Provide a Student Activities area in the lobby outside of the Cafeteria. • The Café Elevator is scheduled to be inspected on August 20, 2010. • The Tech Ed Elevator is tentatively scheduled for inspection on August 27, 2010

  10. Masonry Repairs at Bradford Woods Elementary • Removal and replacement of the glazed brick installed above the Kitchen and Receiving area doors. • Removal and replacement of the five brick piers on the sides of the main entrance stairs. • Project was completed on July 23, 2010.

  11. Masonry Repairs at BWE

  12. Greenhouse Masonry Repairs at McKnight • This project included the repairs to the existing masonry around the base of the Greenhouse. • Installation of a coating of mortar over the existing block to seal the existing masonry. • Installation of a stainless steel flashing around the base of the greenhouse glazing to direct the water away from the masonry. • Sealing of the new masonry coating. • This project was completed on August 13, 2010

  13. Greenhouse Masonry Repairs at McKnight

Installation of Additional Exterior Cameras at NASH • Installed fourteen additional digital cameras around the exterior of NASH. • Student Parking Lot – 4 • Around the perimeter of the building - 10 • Installed ten additional digital cameras around the interior of NASH. • Inside the Stair Towers – 8 • Cafeteria - 2 • This project should be completed by August 30, 2010.

  15. Installation of Exterior Door Card Key System at MMS • Installed card key access control system on 4 exterior doors at MMS. • Auditorium Entrance • Gym Entrance • Receiving Area • Back of Gym • This work was completed on August 17 , 2010.

  16. Other Projects • Painting of the exterior steel at BWE. • Repairs to the gutters at BWE, MES, MMS and the Baierl Center – In Progress. • Modifications to the ductwork for the IT Server Room HVAC system. • Concrete Sidewalk and Curbs Repairs at: • BWE, MES, McK, and NAI • Driveway and Parking Lot Repairs at: • HES, IES, McK, NAI and Transportation

  17. Other Projects • Subdivision of Room 107 at IMS. • Construction of the Cumberland Campus trail. • Replacement of the projection screen on the stage at CMS. • Installation of wall pads in the small gym at NAI – In Progress. • Repairs to the locker room shower controls at NASH. • Installation of electronic ballasts in the classrooms at NAI – On Going.
