  3. Preconstruction • Drawings • Conceptual drawings completed • Construction documents completed by July 1 • Plan submitted to city by July 8 • Subcontractors selected and Guaranteed Maximum Price by August 1 • Permits issued by September 13

  4. Hurdles in Preconstruction • Vehicle queuing and site layout • Significant adjustments made to accommodate city requirements for queuing and traffic • Questions regarding zoning and the application of zoning to School Districts • Open item and all parties continue to work with the city • Total project expense • Many adjustments have been made to reduce expenses • Project still over $16M budget • Adjacent ways funds to bridge the gap

General Specifications of Site • Total space of 96,000 square feet in 2 main buildings • Gymnasium remains separate from dining area • Gymnasium/Dining wing 23,200 square feet • Educational wing 72,800 square feet • Classrooms • 4 classrooms per grade • 970 square feet K-3 • 850 square feet 4-8

Milestone dates • Permits issued by the city – September 13 • Ground breaking ceremony – August 21 • Leadership for site announced – January • Positions filled for 2014-2015 School Year - June • Certificate of occupancy issued – July • FF&E completed - July • Doors open for employees - August • Doors open for students - August
