  1. Av • The very word “Av” means, Father, Will, Desire This month is when our heavenly Father’s desire and will comes forth in your life. • Hebrews 10:7 Then I said, Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God. To fulfill what is written of Me in the scroll of the book.

  2. AvCharacteristics • The month you metamorphose or disintegrate (YOUR CHOICE) • The month the Lion Roars!!! (Amos 3:8) • The month where God destroys so He can reconstruct • The month to Hear and Discern

  3. Discernment In its simplest definition, discernment is nothing more than the ability to decide between truth and error, right and wrong. Discernment is the process of making careful distinctions in our thinking about truth. In other words, the ability to think with discernment is synonymous with an ability to think biblically. • 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 • Ephesians 4:14

  4. Av • The month where the earth contracts The secret of the pregnancy begins to move into the earth realm. Watch for earthquakes…God is getting ready to birth something. A Whole Lotta Shaking Going On!!! (There will be shaking and toppling of ungodly structures in your life.)

  6. Between the Straits and Beyond • Tammuz 17—Av 9 • Golden Calf and the smashing of the first set of tablets • The Straits (connection between two expanses) • Spies returning from surveying the land (promise) • 10 said “NO” • 2 said “GO” • Choose…Choose…Choose!!!

  7. TET • The letter for the month is TET (equals 9) • The choice of Life or Death • A fruitful basket/womb (9 months of pregnancy) • Fruit of the Spirit or a snake twisted in a basket (Gal 5:22-24)

  8. TET • Things will be conceived and birthed in this month Give birth to your next cycle in your life, or the next level Don’t Be Like Simeon and choose Not To Hear

  10. Leo (the Lion) • Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah • The Lion is Roaring this month (Amos 3:8) • The sound of the roar is being released • The divine will of the Father being executed

  11. The Lion Roars The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the sky will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel. Joel 3:16 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to his servants the prophets. The lion has roared…who will fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken…who can but prophesy? Amos 3:7-8

  12. The Lion Roars • The Lion of Judah is roaring for us • We must, in turn, “roar” in faith • Our roar/praise becomes a covering of the Lord • God then begins to unlock things for us

  15. Action (Hearing) • Hebrew word “shema” To understand, hear and act • Ability to discern truth from false (Job 12:22, Deut 6:4-9) • “For the ear tests words as the palate tastes food” (Job 34:3)

To Hear…what’s next? • Decide what you have heard…will you heed the words or not Will I just hear what God has said, or will actually do it? “He who has ears, let him hear.” Matthew 11:15 • This is a crossroads time!!! Will you hear and obey, and thus enter into your birthright and destiny…the ancient paths are God’s Ways “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and Walk In It, and you will find Rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16

  17. Simeon • 2nd son of Jacob and Leah “Because the Lord has heard that I am unloved, He has given me this son also.” • Simeon—An implementer of violence (Simeon and Levi slaughtering the men of Shechem) • Jacob’s decree towards Simeon—Simeon would be scattered and dispersed. • The tribe of Simeon’s land was within Judah’s land (Prophetic picture) OUT OF THE MIDST OF YOUR PRAISE (JUDAH) COMES (SIMEON) HEARING!

  18. Doers of the word James 1:22-25 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. DO WHAT IT SAYS. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it…he will be blessed in what he does.

  19. Faith and Hearing Faith comes by hearing; hearing the Word (Rom 10:17) The prophetic (the heart, mind, and council of God) Word of God will come to you in the midst of your praise…The Roar…will cause the prophetic word to spring forth which will set the course for your future.

  20. Simeon • The tribe is encamped on the south side of the tabernacle, with Reuben and Gad • Moses does not give a blessing or prophecy to Simeon • Ezekiel mentions the tribe as one who would have territory in the coming kingdom (Ez 48:24, Ez 48:33)
