  3. NO-SHAVE NOVEMBER Just in case you did not know, it is NO-SHAVE NOVEMBER!!! Mr. Cooper and Mr. Kelley have pledged NOT to shave the entire month of November until we fill up the boxes outside their classrooms with canned goods. Please drop off any canned goods or prepackaged food items at either Mr. Cooper's room (317) or Coach Kelley's room (314) to support them in seeing just how shaggy their beards can get by the end of the month! Get involved today!!!

  4. Congratulations to… …members of the GHS Play Performance for their performance of This is a Test at South Carolina Theatre Secondary Festival. Special recognition was given to sophomore Jacob Wilson for his outstanding performance. He was named to the All-Star Cast.

  5. SPICE 2012 SPICE 2012 will be held Dec. 13 at 7:00 pm and it is time to recruit talent for this annual talent show!There will be an important meeting for any students interested in performing for the annual GHS Talent Show on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 3:25 in room 310. If you are unable to attend this meeting or have questions, contact Mrs. Hilton in room 310 or at chilton@lexington1.net.

  7. GHS Boys’ Tennis Our Varsity Tennis team is currently recruiting for their spring season! Our team has consistently won their region in 2-A and is looking forward to dominating in region five, 3-A this year as well! If you are interested in being a part of this winning team, see Coach Allman in room 125. Training for the spring season begins soon, so don’t wait to sign up!

  8. Attention Students! There will be a meeting immediately after school on Tuesday, November 27 in Mrs. Hilton’s room, room 310 for ANYONE interested in being in this year’s musical, Little Shop of Horrors! If you have any questions or cannot make the meeting and would still like to audition, see Mrs. Hilton in room 310 or contact her at : chilton@lexington1.net. EVERYONE is invited to audition; you do not have to be in a Drama class to participate!

  9. Attention Students If you have not turned in excuses to the attendance office , please do this before we go on Winter  Break , 12-19. This is very important! You could be doing SEARS if you do not turn in your excuses.
