  2. Attention Students WLTX, Channel 19 and BiLo are once again joining forces to recognize outstanding teachers who make a difference in his or her students’ lives. Each Tuesday, an outstanding educator will be featured on News 19 Friends @ Five and then again the next morning during News 19 @ 6 am. If you would like to recognize YOUR teacher, go to the WLTX website to do so!

  4. SHOW Your GHS SPIRIT! Don't forget to come by Room 114 to get your Spirit Shirt for 2012!!  Only $10 each to show your class and school pride!!  Don't be the only one without one!!

  6. Volleyball Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team in their 3-0 win over Pelion in last night's contest. The scores were 25-12, 25-21, and 25-8. The Lady Indians will begin region play tonight as they travel to Midland Valley. Match time is 7:00. Best of luck to the volleyball team!

  7. Juniors & Seniors Juniors and Seniors: Did you miss ordering your class rings or senior supplies? Never fear! Jostens will be coming back Thursday, Sept. 13th during lunch to take orders and payments. If you need an order packet, please stop by room 122.

You’re Invited to… LOCC When: Wednesday, September 5th Where: Flight Deck in Lexington Time: 6:30 pm WHY?LOCC Club is a group of students who participate in promoting a healthy lifestyle for young people in our community.  We have monthly meetings the 1st Wednesday of each month at a restaurant ofstudent choice.  At these meetings, students make decisions about activities that they are interested in sponsoring.

  9. BAGELS!!!! Bagels are back! Your favorite flavors from Breugger's Bagels will be on sale every Thursday for $1.50 per bagel. Cream cheese is an extra 25cents. Stop by the HOSA Bagel Stretcher this Thursday to get your bagel!
