Mission Statement Review Board of Trustees Task Force • BOT Members: Lisa Andrade, Chair Mike Edelmann, Ruth Piña, Sr. Madonna Sangalli, and Sr. Jane Ann Slater • Administrators: David Estes, President Tessa Martinez Pollack, Helen Struebert, and Gloria Urrabazo Task Force Scope of Work • Edit statement as needed to preserve the core Mission, distinguish OLLU from other institutions, and communicate more effectively; • review the Southern Association of Colleges and School’s expectations for uses of the Mission to guide institutional direction; and • review OLLU Statement of Purpose in light of the Mission and Vision Statements

Process Timeline • September: Discuss with CDP / Board Announcement • October: University constituent focus groups • November: Task Force reviews focus group findings and prepares a draft under direction of a facilitator • December: Task Force issues report to campus community • January-February: Request for feedback from campus community • March: Board Task Force presents final draft Mission Statement to Board Executive Committee for placing it on Board agenda for approval • April: CDP General Council acts on Mission Statement
