Your Mission • Design a Vacation PowerPoint like Mr. Schmidt’s travels with Eminem PowerPoint. • You will take a whirlwind vacation around the world for 6 days…the last day in Chicago. • You will be accompanied by a famous HUMAN, dead or alive. • You will visit 5 different sights or cities AND Chicago with your famous dead-or-alive companion. • In each location, you and your companion will meet or spend some time with another famous person (dead or alive), an animal native to the location OR a product.
What your PowerPoint should include… • 1 title slide • 6 different backgrounds (1 each picture)…the last one in Chicago. • 6 different images of you (1 each picture). • 6 different images of your companion (1 each picture). • 6 different images of people, animals or things you encounter (1 each picture). • At least 6 different layer/image adjustments or filters (1 each picture). • 6 paragraphs describing your journey and associated events (1 each slide). • 7 PowerPoint transitions.
What you should keep in mind while creating your PowerPoint… • Be creative. • Be professional. In other words, sloppiness won’t get you the job…or the grade. • Use the selection tools wisely and carefully. • Don’t forget the clone stamp, the patch tool and the healing brush. • Use filters subtly and realistically. • Don’t dawdle: you have from today until Friday May 23rd to complete the PowerPoint. • Don’t be embarrassing…to yourself or others: you will be presenting your PowerPoint to the class on 1 of 2 days following the completion of the project.
