  1. Related Services in HCPS

  2. Speech Program • A combination of 57 FTE and PTE  SLPs support  approximately 68 schools to include levels preschool, elementary, middle and high. • A variety of therapy models and frequency are observed to serve students based on the student's identified disorder and needs. • HCPS has all qualified providers supporting student services.

  3. Hearing Impaired Program • Eighty + students with hearing impairment served through IEP or 504 Plans • HI Staff: • 6 Teachers for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing • 2 Speech-Language Pathologists • 1 Audiologist • 6 sign language interpreters • About 1/2 of our students are served in the 4 new Zone schools (GAHS, HCMS, GAES, THES) • The other 1/2 are in 25+ different schools in the county

  4. OT, PT & Vision Program • OT: 15.7 FTE, currently 15 staff (2 part-time, 2 are Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants) • PT: 4FTE/staff - avg 35 students ea., caseloads split 4 ways so that each PT covers East, Central-East, Central-West, West teams • VI: 1 full-time, 2 part-time Teachers of Blind & Visually Impaired with 1 Instructional Assistant, Orientation & Mobility Specialist
